"My Great Aunt Nancy and her brother John took these photos. Nancy’s photos appeared occasionally in the New York Times, and now the majority of her collection resides in the North Dakota State Heritage Center in Bismarck, ND. She was an amazing woman who rode a motorcycle and ran a farm in the days when women weren’t supposed to do either."
